Add alarms Set alerts on your device ANDROID TIPS

In order to set new alarms through your device’s Clock app, tap on the alarm icon in the lower-left corner and then tap on the ‘+’ symbol in the top-right corner. Now it is simply a case of entering the time in digits for when you would like the alarm to go off. When you have finished setting it, tap the OK button and your alarm will be saved. If you have multiple alarms set, then they will be listed and you can turn them on and off via the slider switches. By tapping on an alarm, you can also tick the Repeat box to automatically have the alarm go off at the same time every day and you can also set the desired ringtone that sounds when the alarm goes off.

Renaming devices Give your device a different name ANDROID TIPS

By default, the names of your Android devices that appear for selection on the map screen of the Android Device Manager app will be the generic product name. However, if you would like to change this to something a little more personal then this can be done from within the app. First, tap on the Menu icon (three dots) in the topright corner of the screen and then choose the ‘Rename device’ option from the menu that appears. You are then able to enter a new name for the device within the field provided. Once you have done this and are happy with the new name, tap on the Rename option and the new name will instantly be applied to your device when you select it from the main map screen in Android Device Manager.
