When you open Chrome, a number is displayed in a box on the toolbar, to the right of the address bar. This the number of open tabs. Tapping that number gives you a card view of all running tabs. Swiping up and down scrolls
through them. Swiping a tab sideways, or tapping the ‘X’ symbol, will close the tab.
An alternative way to switch tabs is to swipe sideways across the toolbar and this will take you to each concurrent tab. To open a new tab, click the three-dots Menu icon (which is on the right-hand side of the toolbar), then tap the ‘New tab’ option from the toolbar.
